Moving a Site You Already Have
You do not have to start again to stop dreading your website. What it takes to move one, and what it costs, which is nothing.
The site is not the problem. Not being able to reach anyone about it is the problem.
A lot of the people who write to us do not need a new website. They need somebody to answer about the one they have.
The pattern is always the same. Somebody built it a few years ago. That person has moved on, or gone quiet, or now works somewhere that does not do small jobs. The hosting renews to a card nobody remembers adding. Nothing is broken enough to force the issue, and nothing has been updated in two years.
There used to be three ways out of that at three different prices. There is one now, and it does not have a price.
It moves free
A site you already have moves to us free as part of any new build. We handle the domain, the DNS and your content. You are not starting from a blank page, because your words and your photographs come with you, and you are not paying twice to leave somewhere you did not want to be.
We used to sell the move on its own, at $250 to take a site over as it stands and $750 to take it over and redraw it. We stopped. Charging somebody to inherit a site we did not build, and then charging them again when it turned out to need rebuilding anyway, was two invoices for one decision.
What you actually pay for
The build. Whichever size the site needs, at the published figure, and the move is inside it. After that the site carries the same care plan every site we build carries: hosting, SSL, monitoring, security patches, and a person who answers when you need a phone number changed.
How to tell what you need
Open your own site on your phone, on mobile data, standing outside. If you are embarrassed by how it looks, you want it rebuilt. If it looks fine and you simply cannot get anybody to change a phone number on it, you want it moved, and the way to do that is to have us build the thing it should have been.
