Concept: Software development, Vista
A software firm's site that reads like its own tooling, with a fixed monospace rail down the left like a project sidebar and pages listed as paths.
A design concept, not a client site. The name and every detail of the business it was drawn for have been replaced.
The design decisions
- Sora sets the headlines and body copy, and JetBrains Mono runs the rail, the labels and the platform list, so code and prose sit side by side.
- The palette is dark throughout, a near black ground, a slightly lighter band and a deeper rail, with one bright aqua for buttons, links and keys.
- The left rail stays put at full height with the name, phone and nav set as /development and /validation, the current page marked by an underscore cursor, and it folds into a plain header on phones.
- Platforms are set like a config file, aqua keys on the left and plain values on the right in a bordered mono block, instead of a grid of icons.
