Concept: Plumbing, San Diego
A plumbing site in deep navy and galvanized steel blue, where a letterbox photo band opens the page and the visit is drawn as a single run of pipe with a fitting at every stage.
A design concept, not a client site. The name and every detail of the business it was drawn for have been replaced.
The design decisions
- Saira, pushed wide on its width axis, carries the headlines and the uppercase wordmark, with Atkinson Hyperlegible for body copy so every line stays easy to read.
- The palette steps from navy at the header to a galvanized steel blue for the opening and the contact block, with a pale silver band for the process and a bright sky blue for links and the phone.
- The four stages of a visit sit on one grey pipe with a round fitting at each stage, running across the page on desktop and turning vertical on a phone.
- Services run as a ruled two column list on the navy band, each name in sky blue over one plain line, and the questions fold open as a simple list.
