Concept: Landscaping, Chula Vista
Every page is read the way a passer by reads a front yard, from the curb at eye level, with the content laid in hard edged modules like pavers in a sand bed.
A design concept, not a client site. The name and every detail of the business it was drawn for have been replaced.
The design decisions
- Barlow Condensed in tight uppercase blocks carries headlines, labels and the phone, with plain Barlow for body text.
- The palette is drawn from yard materials: fresh concrete for the ground, charcoal for text and bands, a tan paver color for the call button, and a turf green used only for small markers and link edges.
- A drawn herringbone paver band in tan and charcoal runs full bleed between major sections, and every module sits on a visible grid of sand colored joints with no rounded corners or shadows.
- The hero puts a full width condensed headline in a charcoal band with the phone at top right, and a street level panorama sits directly below so no text ever sits on the photo; the From the street strip splits that same view into three material close ups, and mobile adds a pinned call bar.
