Concept: Electrician, Chula Vista
The page is drawn like the single line diagram an electrician works from, so every element reads as a conductor, a breaker or a label, and each service hangs off one copper bus.
A design concept, not a client site. The name and every detail of the business it was drawn for have been replaced.
The design decisions
- Chakra Petch sets the display type, nav, labels and phone numbers in squared nameplate lettering, paired with Rubik for sturdy, slightly rounded body text.
- The palette is drafting stock bone with charcoal ink and a single copper accent for the conductor, deepened on light ground and lifted on dark ground so small copper text stays legible.
- The signature is a full bleed charcoal band where a service entrance symbol feeds one vertical copper bus, each service is a breaker tapped off it with a short circuit tag instead of a number, and a ground symbol ends the run.
- Photo positions are drafting style reserved slots with one hairline diagonal and a small label, and the hero slot drops a copper conductor line down into the next section; on phones a charcoal call bar stays pinned to the screen.
