Concept: Electrician, Chula Vista
An electrician site set like a night call: everything sits on a dark ground and light is spent only where something is working, with the services laid out as the printed directory inside a breaker panel door.
A design concept, not a client site. The name and every detail of the business it was drawn for have been replaced.
The design decisions
- Space Grotesk sets the headline and section heads, JetBrains Mono handles labels, hours and the directory card, and Manrope carries the reading text.
- The palette is a night ground with a slightly lighter panel color, a single bright cyan reserved for the call buttons and lit breakers, copper for fine rules and leaders, and cool grey text.
- The signature is a two column panel directory card in mono type where each service is a circuit with a small breaker toggle that throws on and glows cyan on hover or focus, separated by copper rules.
- Photos sit frameless on the dark ground with soft masked edges that fall off into the night, the hero headline overlaps the lower fade of a dusk kitchen with a glowing call button beside it, and phones get a pinned call bar.
