Concept: Concrete contractor, Escondido
A public works concrete contractor presented like a specification sheet: bone paper, ruled ledgers and a drawing title block instead of marketing panels.
A design concept, not a client site. The name and every detail of the business it was drawn for have been replaced.
The design decisions
- A wide grotesque display face (Archivo at an expanded width) carries the headlines, with Public Sans for body copy and small letterspaced labels.
- The palette is near black, a deep green and a teal on bone and paper grounds, with green used only as a rule and label color and never over the photograph.
- Each section is a two column sheet: a ruled label on the left and a ledger of rows on the right, and the hero ends in a bordered title block that reads like the corner of a construction drawing.
- The call to action is a solid teal call button beside a ghost bid button, repeated in a closing teal band, and on phones a call bar pins to the bottom of the screen.
